After graduating, I worked full-time or half a year before starting my Masters. In my undergrad, I completed three separate 4-month co-ops, for a total of 1-year of work experience. The field of experience varied between each placement, as I was exploring my skills and job opportunities. Below are detailed descriptions of my roles and accomplishments at each placement.

Electrical Test Engineer

March 2023 - August 2023

  • Reduced oversized PCB tests from 8 to 1.5 minutes by developing an automated test jig with C# and Arduino
  • Coordinated with manufacturers to strategically plan, purchase, and build PCBs and LED light panels
  • Achieved production of 100 units in 2 months by directing fabrication process and assembly line setup

Supplier Quality Engineer - Co-op

September 2021 - December 2021

  • Streamlined company-wide Quality conformance Reports by developing a new PLM workflow
  • Minimized defects by addressing manufacturing quality through collaboration with suppliers and quality team
  • Enforced corrective actions via APQP and Six Sigma methods by verifying PPAP qualification and supplier audits

  • Researched solutions to finding mass properties of body segments for patients with spinal cord injuries
  • Developed clinical exoskeleton fitting method, reducing measurement time from 30 to 10 minutes
  • Reduced measurement equipment costs by 65% using a new 3D scanning photogrammetry technology
